Canoe Tour of the Anacostia River

This event is part of our summer series giving you the opportunity to explore your Anacostia River. Please read all of the following information closely before registering.

Date: Thursday, June 22, 2017
Time: 5:30pm - 7:30pm
Location: Anacostia Community Boathouse, 1900 M St SE, Washington, DC (map link)

Description:  Learn about the natural and cultural history of the Anacostia River on a guided canoe tour as part of the Anacostia River Explorers program. Your guide will lead these one or two hour trips and participants will paddle with the group in Anacostia Watershed Society supplied canoes. You will see area wildlife and stunning views of Washington, DC.

There are a limited number of spaces of this trip and registration is required. You must complete a registration for every person who plans to attend, including children or family members. If you register, please let us know ASAP if you're no longer able to attend so other community members can attend.

Groups of 15 or more are encouraged to contact us directly about setting up a tour.
