Details: It's springtime in the Anacostia Watershed! If the popularity of our Earth Day Cleanup and Celebration is any indication, many of you out there can't wait to get out there and clean up your neighbor parks and streams.  That's just one day a year, so at this month's Watershed Wednesday Happy Hour, we tell you about what it takes to make one happen regularly!

DC resident Nate Harrington has been leading cleanups at Shepherd Parkway for a long time now, and he's going to tell us all about how he did it! Hear from him about what inspired him to start the Committee to Restore Shepherd Parkway and continue his work for that park.

Nathan Harrington is a teacher, tour guide, gardener, writer and activist based in Ward 8. A graduate of Bates College and Howard University, he founded the Committee to Restore Shepherd Parkway in 2011.

Hosting us this month is Big Chair, a wonderful cafe and grill with happy hour specials!  Thank you Big Chair!
