Cleanup: 9:00am - 12:00pm
Nearly 40 sites throughout the Anacostia Watershed in Washington, DC, and Montgomery and Prince George's Counties in Maryland!

Celebration: 12:00pm – 2:00pm
This year the Celebration will be held in RFK parking lot #6 (right near the bridge that takes you to Kingman and Heritage Islands). There is plenty of parking on site, and it is Metro accessible (Stadium-Armory Station, Orange and Blue lines). The celebration, part of The Nature Conservancy's Picnic for the Planet, will feature notable speakers (including Councilmember Tommy Wells!), live music by local reggae band Proverbs, as well as vendor and organizational tables -- so you can check out what other cool environmental things are going on in the DC metro area. There will also be lots of cool stuff for kids, including a pint-sized soccer field, face painting, a visit by DC United mascot Talon, and interactive displays and giveaways from Disney. Also, did we mention there will be free food and drinks? Graciously prepared by our partner, Seafarers Yacht Club, this is just our way of saying "THANKS!"
