Serving as our Green Infrastructure Specialist, Alnisha actively engages the community in D.C and Maryland to develop and implement methods of stormwater management and river restoration through the Riversmart Communities, Riversmart Schools initiative and the Maryland Black Mayors stormwater management initiative.

Alnisha brings several years of landscaping design experience and her tenacious passion for educating underserved communities on the benefits of planting to restore the ecosystem.

Alnisha has always had a close connection with the Chesapeake watershed, having spent childhood summers crabbing and fishing in Maryland and Virginia with her grandparents.  She is an advocate for plant therapy and believe that green spaces and environmental education should be accessible in every community.
