Emily Castelli

Emily Castelli is responsible for managing AWS's Volunteer and Recreation programs, connecting community members to our river restoration projects, community events, and boating opportunities. Most days you will find her out in the field leading/assisting restoration projects and captaining boat tours. Growing up in the Anacostia River watershed, Emily engaged in recreation and restoration on the Anacostia River through her early years. She credits these experiences towards her love of the outdoors, environment, and the Anacostia River. She is thrilled to share her love of the river through meaningful watershed experiences as we work together towards a restored Anacostia. 

Education: BS, Criminal Justice, Elmira College
