Jennie Hudson

As a Maryland native Jennie has always had a love for the outdoors. This cultivated her interest at a young age and she knew she wanted to work outside to make a difference in local communities. As a River Restoration Associate Jennie works to help restore the Anacostia watershed through wetland restoration, invasive plant management, mussel propagation, and assisting with volunteer events. Previously Jennie interned in Florida to conduct different biological surveys in and around the Gulf of Mexico. Outside of work you can find her hiking on many different trails in the area, trying to identify the species around her. She is excited to share her passion for the environment through all of her work here in the Anacostia watershed!

Education: B.S. in Environmental Science from Stevenson University
