Matthew Reise

Matthew designs and oversees green infrastructure projects all throughout the Anacostia Watershed. He works with schools, churches, and local governments to restore the environment by creating spaces for bioretention, pollinator gardens, permeable pavers, native plantings, and other interventions. His degrees in landscape architecture and public health merge when producing outdoor spaces that heal both the environment and those who occupy it. A Maryland native, Matthew has always seen himself in the waters of the Chesapeake, and he is overjoyed to be contributing to a region that supports a healthier ecosystem.
