Nominate an Anacostia River Hero!

The Anacostia Watershed Society is working to restore the Anacostia to a fishable and swimmable river by 2025, but we cannot do it alone! Help us recognize the heroes in your community working to clean up and protect the Anacostia River and its tributaries. Awardees will be selected in three categories and honored at the Anacostia Watershed Society's annual Countdown to 2025 event on September 17th. Each Anacostia River Hero will receive $1,000 to thank them for their tireless work to advance the vision of a healthy Anacostia River.
