Registration Open Now - Family Days on the River!

Looking for something fun to do on the weekends with the whole family?

Searching for ways to get your kids active and involved in the great outdoors?

Join us this spring for our "Family Days" events!  Each event includes a boat tour and on-land activities that are great for all ages.

There are two Saturday mornings to choose from:

• Saturday, April 14th:  Meet the fish, frogs, turtles, and other creatures that call the Anacostia home at the Aquatic Resources Education Center with DOEE staff; then relax and enjoy a boat tour of the Anacostia River with AWS staff!  Location: Anacostia Park.  For more info and to register for the 14th, click here.
• Saturday, May 12th: Toss "seed balls" into Heritage Marsh to help care for the river, enjoy a short walk on Kingman Island, and then relax on a boat trip on the Anacostia River!  All led by AWS staff.  Location: Kingman Island.  For more info and to register for the 12th, click here.

Both events will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Registration is required!!!

You must register for every individual in your family that will be attending.  Any individual who has not registered will unfortunately not be able to attend - including any family members who have not been registered, even if other family members have.
