    Keeping a nature journal can be so much more than making nice pictures of what you see! Come to this edition of Watershed Wednesday Happy Hour and learn ways that nature journaling can enhance your curiosity and creativity and make you a more attentive naturalist. This month's presenter will share techniques and exercises that will help you get started on a nature journal and discover new ways of seeing and experiencing nature in the field.

Jorge Bogantes Montero is the Natural Resources Specialist here at the Anacostia Watershed Society. He has led the #MusselPower project from its inception, and possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of the ecosystems of the Anacostia River. In the Watershed Stewards Academy, participants wrap up their term and become Master Stewards with the completion of a community project that addresses stormwater issues in their neighborhoods. Please join us for this special Watershed Wednesday where graduates of the program tell us about the special projects they took on that make the Anacostia River healthier and cleaner. Also, you can learn more about the Watershed Stewards Academy program from the Reyna Askew, AWS's Manager of Community-based Restoration and leader of WSA!
