Return to the River: An Evening of Discovery
An Evening to Benefit the Anacostia Watershed Society
Thursday, October 1st, 2026
Jackie Restaurant
79 Potomac Avenue, SE
Washington, DC 20003
6:30 pm – 9:30 pm
Join the Anacostia Watershed Society this fall as we return to the river, gathering to celebrate the progress we’ve made together and the growing community dedicated to restoring and protecting the Anacostia and its surrounding watershed.
On October 1st, we’ll gather along the water to honor how far we’ve come, strengthen the connections that make this work possible, and raise vital support for a cleaner, healthier watershed. Every dollar raised will help us continue educating the watershed community, restoring more wildlife habitats, and advocating for transformational environmental policies.
This exclusive evening brings together friends, partners, and supporters who share our passion and commitment to the river. We’ll honor individuals that make a lasting impact on our watershed, and highlight the collective power of a community that keeps showing up for the Anacostia River.
Return to the River would not be possible without support from AWS sponsors. We will join together in recognizing them during this evening of discovery.
