Time: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Meeting Location: Saint Gabriel Catholic Church, 26 Grant Cir. NW, Washington, DC 20011 (Map)

Description: Volunteers will join staff from the Anacostia Watershed Society to plant native grasses and perennials in two new bioretention planters at Saint Gabriel Catholic Church, a church in the Anacostia River Watershed. Bioretention planters treat and manage stormwater runoff, so by participating in this project, volunteers will help AWS to reduce stormwater and pollutants from going into the Anacostia River.
