Partner Event - NatureFest Spring Break 2025

- Free Shuttle from Anacostia Metro (parking garage side).
- Ample parking is available in the parking lots by the Skating Pavillion
Description: Our partners at the Friends of Anacostia Park will be hosting the 2025 DCPS Spring Break NatureFest at the Anacostia Park Roller Skating Pavillion! NatureFest is a week-long event during DCPS spring break, providing a safe space for youth ages 5 - 12 and their families to connect with nature and build lasting memories. Each day offers a variety of activities including boat rides on the Anacostia River, scavenger hunts, arts & crafts, live animals, skating, and more! The Anacostia Watershed Society will be offering free 1-hour back-to-back boat tours as part of this event from 11 am - 2 pm.
Families, youth day camps and recreation centers are welcome. Youth must be joined by a chaperone throughout the duration of the event.
