Join the Anacostia Watershed Society’s President and CEO, Christopher Williams, for a boat tour on the Anacostia River to explore the ecological and historical changes that have occurred in the river and in the communities around the river.

Meeting Location: We will gather at the Ballpark Boathouse public boat dock in Diamond Teague Park. The address is 100 Potomac Ave SE. It is a short walk from the Navy Yard Metro and DC Water’s HQO. Please do not gather at Earth Conservation Corps’ dock.

What to Wear/Bring: We recommend wearing sunscreen and a hat and bringing water in a reusable water bottle(s).

• All tours are weather-dependent. We will proceed in light rain, but may need to cancel if there is heavy rain, lightning, or strong winds in the forecast.
