Meeting Location: Langston Golf Course Driving Range: Click here for GPS directions to the driving range. NOTE: we will NOT be meeting at the Golf Course parking lot located at 2600 Benning Rd NE. We will be meeting at the driving range, which does not have a real address. Please consult the link above and the map below for directions. The driving range is just down the street from the Golf Course and is directly across from the Benning Rd entrance to Kingman and Heritage Islands Park.

Project: Join the Anacostia Watershed Society (AWS), National Links Trust, and DC Bird Alliance for a morning at Langston Golf Course on Kingman Island, looking for some of the Anacostia River’s amazing birds. All birding skills welcomed! Great for new and experienced birders.

Physical Level of Difficulty: Moderate

• This event will involve walking for far distances. Participants will be expected to wear closed-toed shoes for the duration of the event. If you think any of the physical requirements will be problematic, please let us know.
