Join us for a special presentation on the ARSP as we reiterate Mayor Muriel Bowser's commitment to a fishable and swimmable Anacostia River.

About this Event

Please join the Department of Energy and Environment for a Community Meeting about the Anacostia River Sediment Project. You will also have the opportunity to make comments on the Proposed Plan and other supporting documents.

The event will feature a presentation on the project with a particular focus on the proposed remedial actions to occur in the main stem of the river. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions about the project.

This meeting is the second in a series of four public meetings to engage residents and stakeholders in the ARSP process. The next two public meetings are:

1/29 - Anacostia River Sediment Project (ARSP) Kingman Lake Public Meeting

2/4 - Anacostia River Sediment Project (ARSP) Washington Channel Public Meeting

You are invited to comment on the study of pollutants in the river sediment and potential risks associated with them.
